Q:Dear Sir / Mdm,
This is Jon from Singapore. I ordered a Stingray Stealth sometime last year to install onto my Pursuit 2550 with a outboard Suzuki DF300.
On my maiden test with the hydrofoil, the boat took off very nicely, but half way thru, I was forced to use my trim taps, thinking something amissed, and true enough, the Stingray Stealth gone total stealth.... missing... drop off.
Do you think I did not screw it tight enough?
Now think of either getting one more or trying the XRIII.

Q:Will the StingRayXR111 fit on an OMC (now Volvo) 5.0 liter I/O,
without drilling or am I better off purchasing a bold on device. I don't understand about the anodes. My 19 foot Four Winns only has one, on the forward edge of the stern drive.
I don't wnat to make a mistake here and damage the stern drive. This product says it requires no bolt holes drilled into the stern drive. Many of the critiques deem to say " no " it had to be bolted on anyway, or cut with a band saw to make it work.
# 1 concern is "less than zero" damage to my boat. Can I return it if it breaks, or if I cannot get it on without drilling.
Will Overton's pay the return shippin costs. But I would like it to work. Again would you recommend a bolt on model over this?Asked on 8/16/2011 by Four Winns Pend Oreille from Spokane, WA

Q:need to down load the installation instructions for a 140 HP Johnson outboard> where can i find them?Asked on 12/5/2009 by quicksilver
A:The website is: http://www.marine-dynamics.com/install.html
These are the instructions there:
Both the StingRay™ XPI and XPII Hydrofoil Stabilizers and StingRay Junior™ models are easy to install. All the hardware you need is included: four bolts, four self-locking nuts, four stainless steel washers, and four
rubber washers. Simply drill four (4) quarter-inch holes in the cavitation plate on the lower drive unit and bolt the StingRay™ on.
Pre-drilled holes in the StingRay™ serve as a guide for drilling the four holes. Placing the StingRay™ on top of the cavitation plate, insert the bolts from the bottom up. Place the rubber washers on the bottom side and the stainless steel washers between the top of the unit and the self-locking nuts. Use a socket wrench to tighten the nuts.Answered on 1/7/2010 by Justin from Overton's Technician
