Q:
I was installing the torque equalizers on my stingray. It says to use the first 10 degree mark. There are a series of holes in the bottom but i am not sure which mark they are talking about. Would they be positioned as straight as possible to begin with? The picture on the back of the package shows them straight, would that be the first one? I have them on the fifth hole from the right.Asked on 8/16/2009 by Lee from St. Peters,MO1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
The purpose of the torque equalizers if to create more drag and to help your boat drive better. Think about it this way, when your car wheels are out of alignment the car pulls to one side. If your boat is doing something similar you can move the equalizers to the inside or outside in attempt to counteract that drift to one side. There is not right or wrong place to place them under the hydrofoil though.Answered on 10/12/2009 by OVERTON'S from TECHNICIAN
