stiletto The unique high-rake, progressive pitch configuration is designed to help most boats achieve their best overall performance at all throttle levels; low end, mid-range and top end. Manufactured using a durable 15-5 ph one piece stainless steel casting, then polished to a gleaming mirror-like finish. They are backed by a limited lifetime blade failure warranty. Your prop is one of the essential links between your boat and the water.Carefully choose the prop that will best suit your application.Mercury/Mariner/Force O/B All V-6 O/B's except Mariner Magnum II, and Mercury XR-4 series.Mercruiser Sterndrive:All Mercruiser I, Alpha I, and Bravo I sterndrives. For the props above with the first digits of "ST103 and ST104" use Quicksilver #13171 thrust washer (Overton's part #24220).Important: These recommendations are for single engine installations only. For most twin engine installations, it is necessary to increase the pitch by 4".Warning:Due to the performance enhancing nature of the design, Quicksilver Trim Tab #. 46399A1or AP 4004 (Overton's part #38459)MUST be used to avoid damage and/or injury.Exception:w/Mariner Magnum II and Mercury XR-4 O/B's, use Quicksilver Anode Plate #15300 or equivalent.Note:1997 and newer Mercury/Mariner O/B with 150hp plus or any Mercruiser I/O will need an aft washer (Overton's part #23395) for proper installation.

            Advice in forums where bang on , stiletto have the best prop for the 175 .The improvements are very noticable , pity i did'nt purchase the aft washer when i ordered , had some grief from local prop specialist about buying cheap American "brown stuff" from the internet and refused to sell washer , he even offered to spin it on the lathe to show how "brown stuff" it was ( Just Propellers Perth WA ). Another local Prop specialist helped me out . The prop self centered and runs like a dream , the boat seems a lot lighter to control and planes faster . . . The brand name should be engraved on prop , the stickers half off after first trip .

                  Product was placed on 4 cylinder Mercruiser on 25' pontoon boat. It's installation eliminated vibration caused by previous prop, as well as increasing top end and making for a better hole shot.
                  ps. Make sure you replace the stock trim tab also. It will not fit without the change.
