    Comments about Steiner® Predator Xtreme Binoculars, 10x, 42mm:

    I am a very active birder whose 20 year old Swift Audubon's were dying. I tried out most of the lower priced competitors such as the Nikon Monarchs and the Leupolds. I like the Leupolds but the field was a bit narrow for birding. The Steiners were the easiest 10 power to hold. The diopter adjustment is very easy and better than any of the lower priced competitors. These are a good as one should expect at this price point. I don't think anyone can buy this kind of item without trying it out. The saleman at the local Gander Mountain store was very patient and helpful.
