    Comments about Steiner® Predator C5 Binoculars, 10 x 42:

    I have the 8.5x56 so and they are simply superb. The low-light performance must be seen to appreciate. I can see well before "shooting light". I bought these to replace my Nikon Monarch 8x56 that I ruined (my negligence) and these Steiners are substantially better than the Nikons. They are about the same size & weight but the image and finish quality are visibly superior.

    I really liked my Nikons. They were a lot of binoc for the money. These Steiners are "that much better". On that note I feel these Steiners are a far better value than the ultra-expensive brands. 95% of the performance at 1/3 the cost.
