This is made for pole style docks, not boat lifts. You would need something to give the PVC more support if you were going to use this as a boat lift guide bracket. We have a boat lift guide kit that is designed for I-beam style credle bunks. See item 79535.Answered on 6/5/2009 by Michael from Overtons
