once i casted the bull frog it sank quickly.i also had to reel quickly to keep it afloat. i did not use my baitcaster i used my pfluger spincast bcause i was in alot of trees. i bought these frogs cause i was tired of the bronzeeye not hooking good enough.SOLUTION BUY SCUM FROG ITS CHEAPER. TAKE THE BODY OFF ITS HOOKS.BUY LARGE SWIVELS. TAKE OFF THE SWIVEL FROM THE CLAMPS.ON ONE END OF THE CLAMP FASTEN IT TO THE RING THAT CONNECTS TO THE TWO BIG HOOKS.ON THE OTHER END OF THE CLAMP I USED A TREBLE HOOK I TOOK OFF OF A RAPALA CLAKIN RAP YOU KNOW ITS THE TREBLE HOOK THAT HAS ONE HOOK THATS LARGER THAN THE OTHERS . THEN PUT THE BODY BACK ON BE CAREFUL. THIS WORKS GREAT.i have bought sooo many other frogs this one really catches em. remember its no longer weedless just cast to side of the lilly pads where the bass are. each time i caught a bass on this thing i noticed it was the two bottom hooks or the one bigger hook that hooks the fish. soory if i misspelled im typing from my camper in a big storm at brookville lake
