Q:How do they attach to the deck, the place that I want to use them I can not get to in order to put a nut on a bolt type system, it would have to be a lag screw type, can these be used thaty way?Asked on 8/7/2009 by Wayne from bellville, tx.
A:E-Z design is simple to install. Just drill holes and drop into place, You can use epoxy to fill hole and then screw the bolts down, or you can use self tapping screws.Answered on 9/21/2009 by Bryant C from Tech Department
Q:I am concerned about drilling a lot of holes. From what I see , these cleats require four holes for each cleat as opposed to the Attwood Neat cleat. Can anyone confirm this.Asked on 7/29/2009 by Ben from Sandwich, Illinois
A:you will have to drill holes for either cleat. You are correct though this cleat requires four holes where as the neat cleat only requires two holes. The holes for this cleat are smaller since there are four, and the neat cleat requires a little bit bigger holes to be drilled.Answered on 9/30/2009 by JUSTIN from OVERTON'S TECHNICIAN
