Comments about St. Croix Triumph 66" ML-Power Spinning Rod:

I was talked into buying this pole by the salesman at the store. After using it on the river I fell in love with it. It is nice and balanced, easy to cast with and durable. I fish for Northern Pike, Walleye, and Bass. I am impressed with it. It is a great pole, especially for beginners.

Comments about St. Croix Triumph 66" ML-Power Spinning Rod:

I bought the 6'6" instead of the 7' rod since i read reviews saying it was a little flimsy and lacked hook setting power. I had no problem setting the hook and landed tiny white bass all the way up to a 23" walleye and several decent sized northern pikes with no problem. I was using 8lb test trilene transoptic and 1/4oz jigs when fishing for walleye and it casted great and had good sensitivity. This was my first good rod that cost over $30 and I was happy with my purchase.
