    Comments about St. Croix® Premier® 5' UL-Power Spinning Rod:

    I bought the 5'6" UL with Moderate action rod. I have used it a few times now and it has been impressive. The rod handles panfish well and seems to have plenty of backbone, even though it seems pretty flimsy. I was not expecting the rod to be as flexible as it is and it concerned me at first, but it performs well and just makes almost all of your fish feel like great fighters.

    This was one of the only rods that I could find that fit the specs I was after for a dock-shooter and general panfish rod. I am extremely glad I purchased this rod and would proudly recommend it to anyone interested in a great lightweight rod.

    Since I only have the 5'6" UL, I can not attest to how well the Premier series does with bass rods, but the UL actions seem to be great.
