Product Description
springfield_marine KingPin Removable Threaded Pedestal System is designed for secure placement and simple removal. The unique KingPin style has a threaded pin at the bottom of the post which easily screws into the base.

The Hi-Lo Pedestal moves from a comfortable fishing position to a low position for storage or maximum driving visibility. A 3/4" e-coated steel pin extended from both the pedestal and the seat mount, allowing either part to fit directly into the socket of the deck base. This complete package includes an 11" fixed height threaded post with a satin finish, Hi-Lo e-coated swivel seat mount with spring, and a 7" x 7" satin, stainless steel threaded base.

              I used these in a 14' aluminum boat and they served the purpose. Any other pedestal packages purchased separately were over double the price. Pedestals can be removed in about 10 seconds and with small children it's important to keep them close to the floor of the boat. Time will tell how well they hold up.

                  The seat just pulls out when lifted up on. The post the seat sits on has a few threads that screws to the base plate at the bottom.
