Product Description
sportdog Keep your dog safely in your yard with the SportDOG Brand In-Ground Fence System. A simple and cost-effective alternative to a traditional fence. Safe and effective for all dogs over 10 pounds, yet powerful enough to cover up to 100 acres of land. Installation is as simple as burying the wire around the perimeter of your yard and plugging in the transmitter. The dog's waterproof correction collar receives a signal from the wire and warns him if he gets too close to the perimeter. Expandable to include any number of dogs with the purchase of additional receiver collars. Four adjustable levels of correction plus tone and vibration mode.

      Comments about SportDOG Brand® In-Ground Fence System With Collar:

      Installing the wire was a little time consuming but once installed, this product works as advertised. My 90lbs German Shepherd does not try to cross the boundary any more and has learned very quickly his new area to explore. I would recommend this product to anyone with some property and a dog!

        The undergroud cable installation took approx. 4 hours for my .25 ac back yard using a power edger. The control unit was a breeze to install after I repaired the outlet that my dog pulled out of the wall (hence the need for the fence). The system has worked flawlessly for my 85 lb lab so far. The collar seems to be well made and durable. Only time will tell.

          we have 2.5 acres of land we would like to cover - would this wire cover that or would we need to purchase more, and if so, how much more?

          Also, how much is an extra dog collar?
