Very nice looking well built prop. When I tried to put it on, the hub was to long to be able to screw on the washer and nut. I returned it.

This is a new boat fro me. I talked to customer service and he walked me through getting the right prop. He asked what my primary use is and suggested the 4 blade for pulling tubes and having fun.

Q:
I now have a three (3) a 14.25 x 21 pitch prop on my boat and it does O.k. ,but I can top out at 6000 rpm ,which I think is too much ..My boat is a 5.7 chevy (250 h.p. ) 20 ' Bowrunner ...
I'm looking at the four (4) blade ,because I want a better hole shot and reduce my rpm's some ???Asked on 5/30/2012 by Anonymous from North Carolina0 answers
Q:
Currently have original 3 blade alum.14.25/21 on Mercruiser sterndrive 4.3 litre 6 cylinder sterndrive (190 hp) At wide open throttle I hit rev limiter instead of top speed. Am wondering which 4 blade to try? 14x21 or 14x23 Not sure about the slighly smaller diameter on the 4 blade. Which 4 blade would most closely match my original for performence?Asked on 5/26/2011 by Bill from Illinois1 answer
A:
A 14x23 4 blade will give you a little more speed without over reving to engine. The 4 blade will also improve handling for pulling tubes, skis, etc.Answered on 8/8/2012 by John from Portage, MI
