I have no electricity to my dock, so I am always on the lookout for solar products. These lights are great. They were easy to install and are very secure. They are tough and durable. I never worry about stepping on them or hitting them. I am buying more of them.

We purchased 14 of these lights last spring. Since then, 9 have failed and 2 more have become too dim to be practical. They were installed in full sunlight and have not been stepped on or abused. In the first 2 months, a couple failed. Four months later, 5 more failed, followed soon by the rest. My strongest advice is to not buy this product, or any solar product, from Dock Edge. Thank goodness for Overton's return policy.

I was very satisified with the product . It let every boater see our boat in the dark. It did not matter if it was at the dock or bouy When you have a 40 foot house boat you do not want anyone to run into you

We can really see our dock during the dusk and middle of the night hours when it's really dark. We have been looking for quite some time for the "perfect" dock light and we found it with Overton's!

Q:
What is the recommended spacing between each unit? In other words, how far does the light project for a unit?Asked on 3/4/2010 by jackpot jim from whitehouse, tx1 answer
VERIFIED BUYER
A:
There are 3 LED's on ea. side, and they are VERY bright. We have a multi-slip (12 slip) dock, and installed one on the front of each slip, directly in front of the forward cleat. So, ours are spaced approx. 8-10 ft. apart, and there is plenty of light at night. In fact, it kinda looks like an "airport runway" at night!Answered on 6/10/2010 by Mountains4me from Lake Arrowhead, CA

Q:
Two Questions:
How is this product stored during the off-season? and what is the height?Asked on 7/14/2009 by Anonymous2 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
If you don't want this product on the dock during the off-season, you would have to remove it by unscrewing it from the dock. The height is approximately 1"Answered on 7/20/2009 by Ryan from OvertonsA:
My solar lights are permanently screwed onto my dock and walkway. I never remove them for the off-season. They are left uncovered even during winter. The lights are about 1 inch tall and very durable. I occasionally step on them and hit them with carts, but nothing has caused them to fail.Answered on 7/27/2009 by Montego Bay from Oklahoma
