In the past I've had to pull the boat up on the beach and really tighten my front anchor line. With these 2 slide anchors, I just touch the beach and anchor both sides of the boat from the back cleats! Works awesome! We sleep in out boat and we're not at an angle because we're not so far up the beach. It works very well and holds the boat even in the strong wind. They fit easily in the ski locker for storage!

A caution to all: what is shown in the picture is NOT what is delivered. The pictures show a chromed (shiny) product and what was delivered to us was a dull, galvanized, rough finish that will easily scratch any fiberglas it comes in contact with.
On top of that, the handle (yellow) had an inked design "printed" on it in red that had not cured. As a result, the gooey substance (red ink) immediately adheres itself to anything it comes in contact with -- hands, clothes and in our case, our beige couch also.
No word yet from Overtons on these issues.

used this while beaching my 22 ft 3500lb Hurricane at a point between open water and a river.Very strong current and tide flow.Holds perfectly.Many people stop and look at this.The cost from Overtons was much less than other company's.
