Comfortable little seat that will definitely help provide lower back support on long fishing days from canoe (why we fish from a canoe is another story)... Only drawback is that for aft canoe seat the SitBacker did not fit optimally (too wide), so we had to do some modifications to the canoe seat. Other than that, great product, and will be useful. Good quality, too.

The concept and comfort are great. The stitching ripped on the strap connecting the back to the seat when leaning back. Stitch width and length too large along with thread strength. Took to seamstress and had it reinforces on both sides of both seats.

Comments about GCI OUTDOOR INC. SitBacker Canoe Seat with Lumbar Support:

These seats are what I've needed for a long time. Being a taller man I had a hard time sitting in the canoe for short periods of time. I get all the support I need and the seat cushion makes for a more comfortable trip down river. I also will use them at my sons football games.
