I am a swimming teacher and have been for 20 some years. 18 years ago I started using this belt for the younger children. It is comfortable, keeps them warm, and they can do everything with it.
They must be supervised for this is not a lifejacket, but for freedom of movement and durablity this is a gret product. I just wish it cam in an XS. Some of the children are tiny.

Product is used for toddlers/non-swimmers in backyard inground pool. Quality is not as good as Cut-N-Jump brand belts purchased several years ago. The yellow part of the belt (although softer, more pliable) twists from under the blue strap at the fastening clip. This does not happen with the Cut-N-Jump brand belt which, of course, is no longer available.

Comments about Overton's Single Waterski Belt:

I have a B&B with a large natural pool beneath a waterfall. I bought one of these belts for my girlfriend several years ago. She enjoyed the added flotation while swimming leisurely. It disappeared. One of the guests may have taken it. I went on line to find a replacement and saw the best price at Gander Mountain. I bought four to share with the guests. For just floating around, they are better than those pool noodles since they leave your hands free. They are also popular while paddling the kayaks or floating in the tubes.

Comments about Overton's Single Waterski Belt:

I have looked locally for these belts for two years. It was a pleasant surprise to find them at Overton's. They are a great safety consideration for reasonably good swimmers enjoying a fun day in some quiet lake cove....not bulky and easy to wear. I insist on some reliable flotation no matter the swim skills, and my crew objects to lifejackets when tube floating and playing in the water. These belts fit the bill, and they have been impossible for me to find in local sporting goods stores. Thank you Overton's!

These do not have specified weight limits as they are simply designed for floatation assistance and not USCG approved. These are not designed to be life saving devices. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact our technical assist line at 1-800-334-6541
