      This reel is awesome! With the high speed reel you can burn in the 10's really quick, but you still have to work at it a bit. For normal retrieves this reel pulls them in with ease, once you kick it into gear and get those blades moving really quick in the water you will feel them, however its ALOT easier on the arms then doing it with say a calcutta TE or a Daiwa saltist. So if you are thinking of getting this reel just for the power and you don't have the need for speed then I would highly recommend going with the low speed Tranx instead of the high speed. 30 inches per crank on the low speed is still plenty fast, and its packed with even more power then the high speed. With that all said, if you really like speed even if you have to still work for it then this high speed reel is for you! casts like a dream, smooth as can be on the retrieve and fits the hand well. it might be bigger then other round reels but because of the low profile it fits all the same in the hand as a smaller circle type reel.

      Best reel on the market for throwing double 10's or larger. Great tell if you plan on throwing large Bucktails for several Weeks each season. With the high cost, if you don't get out a lot I would recommend saving your money for a trip to Ontario. Great reel not a great price.
