Comments about Shakespeare Travel Mate Telescopic Casting Rod, 46":

My first impression was that it was cheap, as you might expect for the price. In use it has been fantastic! Plenty strong, action as good as any rod I have ever used. Ideal for light lures, adequate for medium. Very easy to set up/take down. I put this in my bike bag and hit the local ponds for bass.

I liked the slow action, but it never saw the water. I could not retract the tip section. It broke while I tried.
