Product Description
shademate In an effort to continue to provide the best products at the best value, we've made several improvements to the already outstanding design of Shademate Bimini Tops. The result is a better fit and appearance with a much easier setup and installation. These tops are still built tough using only the finest materials, but now installation has been made easier with a new zippered bow pocket that securely holds the top to the frame. The middle pocket is wider so it's easier to install with no need for extra straps between bows. Our new design also includes a curved side profile for a better looking fit with less wrinkling. A single seam down the center of the top helps the fit and decreases the chance of seam failure. Screws used in the assembly of the frame no longer contact the fabric, so there is less wear and tear. Zippered bow pockets for easier installation. Curved side profile for less wrinkles and better looking fit. Single seam design fits better. 7/8" bright anodized aluminum frame with stainless steel screws. Deck mounts swivel for various mounting options. Includes a FREE matching, fully zippered storage boot to keep your top clean and neat when not in use.

Sunbrella 9.25-oz. acrylic fabric is world renowned for prolonged protection against the sun. Seven-year warranty.

          We use our boat almost weekly during the summer. This top is great! Easy to install (less than an hour) and very easy to put up and take down. The only issue I have with this top is the black plastic hinges that hold the third bow to the top rub my boat while it is being towed, leaving black scuff marks on my boat's fiberglass. The only solution that I have found from Overton's are the $60 support poles. I now wrap these hinges with a piece of cloth for towing to prevent further damage.

              Great quality and fit without the cost of a custom made bimini top - beautiful color, durable material and construction. The assembly instructions were just slightly confusing - were not correctly written - tag not in correct position as described in instruction booklet and took a little more time to figure out. Have already recommended product to other boaters.

                Great product for hot weather. Don't know how I made it without it! Adding the rear braces is a must. This allows you keep the top in the "radar position" when not deployed - this gives your boat a very sporty look. I have two long velcro straps to hold the fabric tightly while I put on the boot. This allows you pack it away in a tidy manner. Another tip is buy six or eight large "hair clippies" (your wife may use in her hair). Use these to secure damp towels to air dry OR put dry towels on the end of your Bimini top for extra shade or privacy.
                PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT mix the screws for the top and brace. The brace screws are a hair bigger and will crack your fiberglass - too close in size to determine which is which with the naked eye. Also make certain you DRILL with little pressure AND drill pilot holes before you get to the specified drill bit size. I used masking tape to mark the holes - easy to mark on. ALWAYS clean the fiberglass debris from hole AND grooves in drill bits each time you drill.
                Measure twice, drill once and enjoy!

                    This cover worked great for our family. When you are going to be on the lake all day, it is nice to be able to get out of the sun and this product worked well. The installation was very easy (about 20 - 30 minutes to install). The top velcro's around the hardware, so it is very easy to get on and off. The only thing negative is the price. It seams a little high for what you get, but I guess that's pretty common for boating accessories.

                        A:

                        Go no faster than 30 or 35 MPH and you'll be fine. Will hold up fine if you go faster. I'm not worried about the top or frame. Higher speeds could crack the fiberglass where screwed to boat.
