                  Is the width I am to measure the width of the top from post to post or does the width include the measurement of the bimini fabric that folds underneath, which would make a longer measurement?

                    All bimini measurements are based on the mounting points. You are measuring the width of your boat from one mounting point to another. do not worry about anything else.
