Found the top easy to install. I also bought the sliding base so the top can be moved forward and back. This really helps when the sun moves throughout the day to keep you in the shade. I can travel with it up at about 30 mph steady without any problems. I did not go faster since there is a warning not to, but feel that it would easily hold up at faster speeds.

Comments about Shademate Polyester 3-Bow Bimini Top, 6'L x 36"H, 79"-84" Wide:
I bought the bimini for a 22 foot Larson bow rider. [...] I ordered the 3 bow polyester bimini and rear brace kit. I have never installed any type of boat cover but this installation was a breeze. I was able to perform the entire install with no assistance. The instructions were clear and concise. If I had more confidence I could have had the install complete in under an hour but I measured, measured again, and re-measured before drilling any holes for the mounting hardware. The finished job looks great. My only gripe is the quality of the screws provided. The phillips heads were very easy to strip. I had a new #2 bit for my driver and the slightest slip spun the bit and ruined the screw. I ended up having to tighten down two screws used on the frame assembly with vise grip pliers. I buzzed around the lake at 30 mph ans saw no evidence of anything flapping or wanting to come apart. Overall I think this kit was a good value. I'll try to remember to do a follow-up post in September. I also bought the clips to hang towels. They work great.
