        Cap does not snap or fasten in place,just lays on top of the flush mount and is easily knocked or blown off. I have decided to try a small piece of velcro to secure it, but have not done that yet.

        removed the table from pontoon boat.used it to cover the table mount\hole.worked good.will buy another one.keeps sand out and no stumped toes.

            The cap is nice to have, to keep toes and feet out of the hole , but the cap fits too loosely and comes out at times when you bump it. They just need to re-design it to snap or lock firmly into place .

              THE SEQUOIA CAP IS A PERFECT FIT TO COVER THE BASE PLATE BUILT INTO THE FLOOR OF OUR CROWNLINE OPEN BOW. THIS PREVENTS ANYONE FROM HURTING THEMSELVES BY GETTING THEIR TOES STUCK IN THE HOLE AND MAKES A SMOOTH PLACE TO STEP OVER THE MOUNT. WE DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE THE PLATE WITH THIS SMOOTH PLASTIC CAP COVERING IT.

              Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
