Comments about ITC Sequoia 25-1/2" Pedestal Only:
I used it to replace a surface mounted floor socket in a motor home (no clearence underneath for a recessed socket). The new low profile, surface mounted, twist lock socket along with a new table socket to accept the new pole was easily installed and eliminated the original unsightly, obtrusive socket.

Cons

Comments about ITC Sequoia 25-1/2" Pedestal Only:
Great system but inidividual in boat went to stand up and put some side pressure on the pedestal and the lower plastic stabilizing ring cracked.

Q:
Can the table top (when the table mount is securely screwed/attached to the underside of the table) easily lift off of the pedestal/post so that the pedestal/post and table top can be stored separately? It is clear that the pedestal/post easily removes from the table base at the floor but does it also remove/separate easily from the table mount at the table top? This would make it exceptionally convenient. Also will the table top swivel when on the pedestal/post? I ask this because our table top will serve dual purpose as a support for a boat cushion to form a sun deck at the bow of our bowrider when not being used as a table top. Thank you!Asked on 5/9/2012 by Anonymous1 answer
A:
Hello.
The cap of the post seats into a recess in the top cap, and it allows both the table to rotate and the table to pull off the base relatively easily.Answered on 10/30/2012 by ITC from Holland MI
Q:
Can the black cap on the pole be removed to fit into a table top that accepts a 2" pole? it sounds like the cap being tapered will not fit into a table top with 2" diameterAsked on 5/26/2009 by Anonymous2 answers

A:
You should be able to remove the black cap. There are no fasteners on it so it is probably pressed on or secured with epoxy.Answered on 5/28/2009 by Michael from OvertonsVERIFIED BUYER
A:
WITH THE BLACK CAP ON, IT FIT PERFECT INTO OUR NEW TODD TABLE. WITH A LITTLE NUDGE, YOU COULD SWING THE TABLE FOR MOVEMENT AROUND THE CABIN. I AM NOT SURE WHAT DIA. THE TABLE MOUNT IS, BUT IT WAS THE STANDARD MOUNT THAT COMES ON ALL THE TABLES.Answered on 7/13/2009 by Jonny Crownline from So. California

A:
The pedestal is 2" diameter but the plastic cap that slides into your table mount is tapered, 2 1/8" to 2 1/4".Answered on 5/26/2009 by Michael from Overtons
Q:
what size table mount will this fit into?? 2"? or 2 1/4" only?Asked on 5/15/2009 by Nick from New York1 answer

Nick - There is a black cap on the top of the pedestal that is tapered for a tight fit into the table mount. The diameter of this taper is 2 1/8" to 2 1/4".Answered on 5/19/2009 by merchandiser from Overtons
