Q:
I have a 1992 bayliner with a 3.0 alpha one in it but when i had someone look up my engine serial number they said the engine was a 1991 sooo would the motor be considered a 1992 cuz the boat is,and will this manual be the correct one?????? thanksAsked on 6/21/2012 by Anonymous1 answer
A:
The year of your boat does not decifer the year of your motor. If a dealer looked up your motor's serial number and it referenced a 1991 then it is a 1991. It is not uncommon that this happens.Answered on 10/2/2012 by Justin from Overton's

Q:
I have a '97 glastron with a 5.7 mercruiser.. when like pulling into dock or going slow, when I go from forward to neutral or reverse to neutral it dies on me.. It fires right back up but is really irritating.. The boat shop said they adjusted something last year to help it but it didn't help.. The boat sat in storage for 4 years before I bought it.. Any help would be great...Asked on 6/1/2011 by Anonymous from denver, co0 answers

Q:
I have a 1996 wellcraft scarab w/ 502 engine. I've recently noticd a small amount of what appears to be oil with a slight hint of fuel smell dripping directly below the punp the I believe drives the fuel pump and the water intake to cool the engine. Does it make sense that this pump would leak oil in a failing stage and is it possible fuel could be coming through with it? Or should I look elsewhere for the problem?Asked on 9/3/2009 by Jim from Alexandria Bay, NY1 answer
