I am restoring a 1976 Carver Cuddy (2276 Camper) and slowly re-wiring the entire boat. The helm wiring was a mess so I was looking for a replacement for the switches and fuse blocks. I ordered this product AND the "Blue Sea Systems Water-Resistant 6-Gang Panel, 6" x 3 7/8"" Between the two I would HIGHLY recommend the Blue Sea System over this panel. This is NOT waterproof, it can only be mounted one direction, it is flimsy aluminum with so/so wiring. Spend the extra bucks and go with the Blue Sea Systems panel - I went back and ordered another one to replace ALL my switches.

Comments about SeaSense 6-Gang Rocker Switch Panel:
i used this for a 20ft grady white, easy to install, looks nice. i didnt get one season out of this part. rusted quick internaly, fuse springs break, hard to remove fuses. the plastic around the fuse switch breaks easily. i wouldnt recommend this for outdoor or salt water use.

On the side of the Fuse block housing outside not the back is a small hole. What you'll need is a very small pin or screw driver and push in. This will pop up and you can pull the fuse and just push it back in. It will only go in one way.Answered on 7/1/2009 by Dennis from Eden, NC
