Lightweight yet strong, FlexFilm technology in the upper secures the foot on the platform throughout the gait cycle. Inside the shoe, anatomically-contoured memory foam heel pods secure a perfect fit. The HydraMAX collar lining offers excellent moisture-wicking properties as well as a plush hand feel. In the midsole, ProGrid technology provides a unique blend of responsiveness and cushion, and the heel crash pad has been beveled for an even smoother ride as the runner transitions through the gait cycle. High-abrasion EVA+ in the midsole provides lightweight cushioning and durability, while an 4mm heel-to-toe offset minimizes impact to further protect your feet. After studying wear patterns on thousands of test shoes, Saucony strategically added XT-900 rubber to parts of the outsole for enhanced durability. An EBO (External Bedrock Outsole) protective plate shields the foot from sharp edges and debris without compromising flexibility, while the outsole's durable triangular lug design provides stability and traction on any type of terrain.
