Product Description
The Guide 5 is a go-to training shoe for runners seeking lightweight stability. Saucony's most popular shoe just got lighter and more flexible, while offering the runner a more efficient transition through the gait cycle. The ProGrid midsole runs the length of the footbed, providing a seamless transition, incredible cushioning, and responsiveness, all in a lightweight package. Dual-density SSL EVA in the midsole maximizes rebound and durability while minimizing weight. SRC Impact Zone provides shock attenuation and sets the foot up for a smooth transition, while an 8mm heel-to-toe offset minimizes impact. The HydraMAX collar lining offers great moisture-wicking properties as well as a plush hand feel. The Comfortride open-cell foam sockliner is antimicrobial-treated, highly breathable, and provides superior cushioning and ride. The HRC Strobel Board offers an additional 1.5mm of EVA for enhanced step-in comfort and an incredibly plush ride. Saucony's exclusive IBR blown rubber compound in the outsole is lightweight, responsive, and offers enhanced cushioning and durability. The XT-900 carbon rubber outsole material yields superior traction without sacrificing durability. Medium width. Imported.
