Q:I want to know how and where to fish it. I also want to know if it really worksAsked on 2/18/2010 by Bailey the fish man from Pittsburgh Pa
A:This lure works great for bass, especially if you are in thick weeds and everything you have is getting hung up. It is best if it is fairly calm. Throw it at cover-stumps, rocks, trees, etc. Be ready as soon as it hits the water because the bass often slam it immediately. If not, let it sit there a few seconds, give it a couple of twitches so it "pops." Then I reel it in a little bit, let it sit for a sec or two and twitch it again. Oh, and you MUST be patient. Do NOT set the hook right away when you see a fish slam it. Because it is weedless, and the hooks are snug to the body of the frog, if you set the hook early, you will pull it out of the fishes mouth more than 50% of the time. wait, then wait some more. It can be frustrating because sometimes I set too early and lose them and sometimes I wait too long and she spits it out. But, you get so much action, it is fun, and worth the missed hook sets. I hope this helps.Answered on 12/20/2010 by MonCul53 from Florida
