Our owl is used as a "protector" of the garden areas of our home. This past winter saw significant rabbit damage to shrubs and young trees. Since placing the owl into the area, not only have rabbit visits been almost eliminated, the squirrels and crows seem to avoid the area as well.

The best feature of the owl is the solar panel and head motion. As an added function, I suggest that the owl be given an occasional voice to add to the realness of the decoy.

The product doesn't work as advertised. First the solar panel is suposed to turn the owl's head automatically 360 degress in stages, every couple of minutes. This one doesn't do that. The head gets caught or simply does not have the power to turn completely.

I got this to keep birds from building nests on the patio. Product works like described, ie head moves and wind keeps owl moving after about two days the birds figured out this owl was not a threat and began building nests within 10 ft of it. I moved the owl nearly everyday and atone point twice a day but I concluded the birds just liked it there to protect them from birds of prey

                        Yes sir, we have had great feed back on this item. Everyone over all very much likes it. As for scaring geese off, I do not know if this is quite what you need. I am not familiar with what is a natural predator for geese and what they would fear.
