Product Description

This bilge pump is totally submersible with moisture-tight teflon seals and a protected ignition. The Rule 1500 offers more pumping capacity and more exclusive design features than any comparable competitive pump. Features easy-clean, snap-lock, gas resistant strainer base, anti-airlock protection, and stainless steel shafts. 1-1/8" hose outlet.

      Bought a boat in 2002 with a Rule 1500. God only knows how long this bildge pump has been in the boat. Used the boat for eight years. Last year, the float switch stopped working. Replaced the switch but the marine mechanic said the bildge pump was still working perfectly.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      It is built to survive in a very hostile environment. The only reason replacement was required, was the negligence of the previous boat owner.
