Q:Does 40A include both the pump and switch?Asked on 3/5/2010 by Mary from Minnesota

A:No...It is just a switchAnswered on 5/6/2012 by Tanqueray from Indiana
A:The same current goes through both the pump and the switch. So, for a switch rated at 40A of current, you can connect a pump with up to a 40A current draw. That is, if your circuit can handle that much current.Answered on 8/28/2012 by Steve from Tucson, AZ
