works well
make sure that you put the bottom of the old ( being replaced) against the new and drill holes; so that the old screw holes can be used to instal the new product.

Comments about Rule-Mate Automatic Bilge Pump RM500 - 500 GPH:
Only small drawback is that the bilge has to get a good amount of water before this pump activates.

Comments about Rule-Mate Automatic Bilge Pump RM500 - 500 GPH:
After reading all the reviews I found this automatice pump works as advertised. I did not purchase the switch panel as recommended. I used a lighted led SPST toggle switch. The third lead from the pump I ran to this switch and ran power to the switch and ground wire. I think the problem most folks find difficult is forgetting to run the ground lead. I have under my dash of the boat and area that I setup for grounds. Just run one wire back to the motor. I use a terminal block for all my ground leads. Thinking about doing this for my power leads. Anyway, the auto pump starts and will keep pumping until just about all the water is gone.
