So much fun !
I bought this item purely for fun and to keep busy when the fish aren't biting. I use it to dip down in the lake to just see what I can bring up.

Not sure why the magnet is covered in rubber when it is open to water thru the bottom surface? Seems like it is likely to corrode or mold.
It is so light weight that it is uncertain how easy it will be to guide to any item under the water.

Pros
- Easy To Use
Cons
- Not As Large As They Lead
Best Uses
Comments about Greenfield Retrieval Magnet:
Received as a gift. Excited to use in the summer. The magnetic surface area is about the size of a smart phone. In the pictures they depict a magnet that would seem to be significantly larger. Still should be a fun toy to mess around with at the lake.

Comments about Greenfield Retrieval Magnet:
I purchased it to pick up nails after a roof job at my house. It won't pick up a roofing nail unless it actually touches it. BUT, I stuck it on my wheelborrow and had to pull very hard to get it off of it. This magnet is for full contact, not small objects. It is smaller than I expected also, read the discription. The package states 200lb not 250lb as advertised.

Comments about Greenfield Retrieval Magnet:
Claims this will pick up 250# are a lie. It won't even pick up 5#, unless it's flat and it's attached to the middle of the surface. It was a total waste of my money. I took it on our dock and everybody got a good laugh going around trying to pick up things like hammers....wouldn't do it!!! Total waste of money!!!!
