Product Description
jabsco Fits both stock Mercruiser pump and Jabsco aftermarket pump. Composite aluminum, plastic, and cast iron construction of original Mercruiser water pumps does not hold up in marine environments. Now you have the choice to replace the complete pump assembly, the end cover only, or the impeller with a more durable, longer lasting pump. The Jabsco Mercruiser-type replacement pump has a one-piece bronze body and bronze end-plate with a replaceable cam and wear-plate so it can be rebuilt when needed.

My 1986 Pleasurecraft Marine 350 Chevy has a Sherwood pump (G55-2) and uses a Sherwood P/N 10651 for the impeller and Sherwood P/N 12231 for the O-ring. If you order the Sherwood #10651 impeller kit online you will get a Jabsco impeller kit P/N 18948-0001. The impeller fits but the O-Ring is too large for the Sherwood pump. [...]
