No. It does not have a light that shines on the license plate.

A:These lights have color coded wire leads that come out the back. The leads are about 6 inches long. You just splice your existing trailer wiring in to the replacement light wiring leads.Answered on 5/15/2015 by Product Expert from Overtons

A:Adjustment of the flasher relay is dependent on the car year, make, and model. For most vehicles 2004 or newer, no adjustment is necessary. For vehicles older than a 2004, relay adjustment might be required.
