At just 1-5/8-inches, the Rebel TD49 Tracdown Minnow is the shortest of the company's trilogy of slow-sinking minnows. The Tracdown Minnow is a slow-sinking lure designed for success in moving water because there's less line resistance as the bait gets down to the level of the fish and stays there even during a pause in the retrieve. The Tracdown sinks at a rate of 1' per second, allowing you to count your fishing lure down and retrieve it at the exact depth of suspended fish. It produces a seductive wiggle when retrieved at a steady pace, and erratic side-to-side darting action when twitched, effectively targeting trout, smallmouth bass, panfish, walleye, and other gamefish in lakes, streams, and rivers. The TD49 also excels in cold, still water when you need to get a lure to a certain depth and work it slowly. A big eye gives fish a clear target and quality components hold up to the rigors of catching fish-after-fish.
