The Ray 49 packs a host of powerful features into a radio that's compact, rugged, submersible (IPX7), and reliable. Ray 49 offers easy-to-use rotary controls for volume, squelch, and menu operation and a large backlit LCD display. The microphone includes integrated controls for channel selection as well as a built-in speaker. A built-in DSC distress key provides one touch digital broadcast of your boat's GPS position and digital mayday. Also features 25 watts of transmit power, a superior receiver with excellent noise rejection, best-in-class audio output, standard external speaker connection, four scan modes, NOAA weather alert, and programmable scanning. Note: MMSID# must be applied to enable DSC function.
