The Shad Shallow brings attention-grabbing noise and motion to the top 3' of the water column for shallow presentations, working emerging weeds, or targeting suspended fish pushed against dropoffs. Features a classic shad shape, irresistible rattle, dressed rear, and Slashbait action that's sure to distract even the most uninterested fish. The Internal Long-Cast System provides consistent, easy casts with maximum distance. Comes equipped with two VMC black nickel treble hooks for positive sets. Perfect for targeting suspended freshwater gamefish.

    Great Lure for Shallow Pond Bass

        This has quickly become my favorite lure for bass in small ponds. Favorite color is Red Crawdad, although I don't think they make it any more. Great action whether on a straight retrieve or using it as a erratic slashbait. This versatility helps you catch fish in different moods. Great Lure.

              This Slashbait/Jerkbait/Twitchbait performs flawlessly when ripped hard and then allowed to settle so it suspends for a couple seconds between rips. The Largies and Smallies will smash it on the suspend. Also slow twitching, this bait will keep it more toward the 4 foot depth range described by Rapala. Throw a larger hook on in the forward (belly) position with fluro and it will go down to the 5-6 foot range. Trailer hook strength, sharpness and flash are near perfect.

                  I did contact live help on the website. The #413801 is an XRSHSS06 2.5 inch 5/16oz 2-4 foot dive model.
                  The #413802 is an ARSHSS08 3 1/8 inch 1/2oz 4-7 foot dive model.
