I caught a 17 inch 6 pound bass on this lure in olive green. I would also recommend silver and silver blue. One time I caught 13 bass in an hour with this lure in olive green, too!

The Rapala Classic X-Rap catches nearly all species of fish. It has proven especially productive for early season Walleye, just after ice off. Its suspending action allows you to entice those fish that just aren't ready to chase a bait yet. As water warms it warrants the attention of bluegill, crappie, bass and pike. What fisherman doesn't want a bait that catches all species... This bait simply has no down side where I'm concerned. Guess that is why I ordered five from Gander Mountain this spring...

I love this lure. I use it in the ponds near my house and i catch fish on almost every cast. The bass just cant resist it. I use it on a 5'6'' light action rod with 5 lb test and it is the perfect setup for this lure. I reccomend this lure to everyone who like to catch fish.
