This helmet features a durable, lightweight shell made of ABS plastic and thermoplastic for protection. Features full rubber bead trim along its edge and a non-slip goggle strap holder to keep your goggles in place when you're riding on bumpy terrain. Equipped with ear pockets, removable cheek pads, nylon webbing chinstrap, and an adjustable visor. DOT certified. Sizes: S(22"), M(22-3/4"), L(23-1/2"), XL(24-1/4"), 2XL(25").

        Looked long and hard about buying a helmet online but could not beat Gander Mtn's great price. So I read plenty of reviews and most all of them stated to get a size larger than the size chart says. Which I ordered one size larger. It came fairly quick. Tried it on and was awful tight. I tried to wear it around the house a little for a few days and decided it was going to give me a headache if I wore it out riding. So I chose to send it back and I ordered another one 2 sizes larger and recieved it. It is the size I needed. I ended up not saving any money as I had to pay for the shipping to return the helmet that was to small. So much for a great buy. anyway I would almost recommend you order 2 sizes larger then you measure for. I think there sizing chart is all wrong. I do like the Helmet and will see how it is on a long off road ride this July 4th weekend.

                You must order a larger size but this helmet is great.
                Lots don't realize the helmet has REMOVABLE cheek pads. They simply snap out if you want to take them out.

                This helmet is well worth the price.

                  This is a sweet looking helmet and fairly well vented for a casual rider. However, make sure you order 1 size bigger than you would normally wear, two sizes if you have a round head. The cheeks seem to be a little tight although it is a good fit overall.

                      A:

                      The sizes for helmets and hats are found under the apparel heading. There, you will find a sizing chart. However, this helmet differs. The small is for head sizes 23 and 3/4 inches in circumference. The medium is 23 and 1/8, the large is 23 and 1/2, the XL is 23 and 7/8, and the 2XL is 24 and 1/4.
