True to its roots, the SmartPilot series of autopilots has not strayed from the reputation Autohelm pioneered with features like integration with instrument and navigation systems, push-button steering, and AutoSeastate/AutoTrim to automatically adjust for wind and sea conditions. The Advanced Steering Technology (AST) combined with an integrated rate-gyro processor keeps your course in any conditions. The SmartPilot software allows your course computer to learn you boat's steering characteristics and automatically set up for optimum performance. Features convenient rudder-reference-less operation and data connections for SeaTalk and NMEA 0183.

Includes the S1G course computer, hydraulic drive pump for Verado, ST6002 control head, fluxgate compass, and cabling. Compatible with the single Verado Engines with single hydraulic steering ram, dual Verado Outboard Engines with single hydraulic steering ram and mechanical tie bar, and dual Verado Outboard Engines with multiple hydraulic steering rams hydraulically linked in series. Not compatible with dual or triple Verado Outboard Engines with multiple hydraulic steering rams hydraulically linked in parallel.
