Comments about Moeller Quick Connector Female Fuel Line Fitting, 3/8" barb, plastic (Yamaha):

I tried to put the fitting on my motor (a Yamaha 4hp), but I could not force it on far enough for it to lock on. Tried on the tank and the motor. I pulled one rubber O-ring out of the interior of the fitting, and it then fit on far enough to lock in place. This does not seem right. I have not tried it yet to see if it still seals well enough without the inner O-ring.

Read the reviews but since it was the only one listed for Yamaha I bought it. Should of listened to the reviews! It would not fit on my Yamaha 15hp and I eventually got it to fit on my gas tank, but it was a pain! Hopefully a different brand works better.

This fuel line connector did not fit my 1998 Yamaha 25HP motor. The spring loaded locking clip did not go down far enough into the motor mounted connector to lock it into place.
