      Comments about Quantum Exo PTi Spinning Reel, EX25PTI:

      Been waiting for this reel, Much better than the Catalyst. Light and strong. I use with a 5-1/2 foot light rod for pan fish and change out to a 6-1/2 foot med rod for bass. Bail closes nice and line retrieve is smooth. Drag is also smooth. At first this reel feels like a cheap plastic reel But that will change the first time you hook a nice fish. The light weight is deceptive in your hand. The Titanium bail is great. If you want a reverse bail this reel has no reverse feature. For me that is just fine, I never use that feature. I prefer the solid hook set this reel gives. The bail and spool do not move at hook set. I feel this reel is priced right and worth the money.
