Comments about ProMariner ProMite 5/5 Onboard Battery Charger:
I have owned two of these now for well over a year.
They have ALWAYS worked and never let me down.
The Pro-Mite 5/5 can work as a two bank 5Amp or a 10Amp single bank charger.
A great feature it the power transfer, say battery one battery is fully charged prior to the second, all them extra amps from that bank are redistributed to the bank that needs it.
Have used it on both large group 31 125 amp hour wet cell deep cycles and group 31 AGM's and our batteries are always 100% fully charged and ready to go. Also works well to maintain them during the off-season. One of the Best deals out there for on-board chargers.
- Primary use:
- Personal
Pros
- Easy To Install
- Easy To Use
Cons
- Flimsy Construction
- Poor Design
Best Uses
- Small Boats
Comments about ProMariner ProMite 5/5 Onboard Battery Charger:
I bought this last SUmmer and expected it to last longer than just 1 year. When I checked my batteries this spring I found them not charged. Once I inspected the charger I found it had split right in two pieces. It had been parked all winter and the case just cracked in half from the weather. It was not what I expected.
- Was this a gift?:
