Everyone has the noodles to use to float in the lake or at the pool, but the saddle seat is wonderful. They are much more comfortable then the noodles and so easy to store. They seem very durable, we have only had ours for one summer, but I am going to buy more for the friends we take out on the boat. There are some other brands, but the saddle was the only one comfortable for men and women.

I bought 2 of these to use while floating a t sandbars on the lake. They are not supportive of much weight and difficult for young ones to stay upright

We use these saddles to float in our pool and to carry in our boat for floating in the lake. They will support my husband that weighs about 250 lbs. I liked the first ones that I ordered so much that I placed another order so that all my children and grandchildren have their own. We now own 13. I would highly recommend them.

Comments about Texas Rec Pool Saddle:

Bought a pair of these for mom's birthday this year. We love them and like I said in the title: they provide an almost effortless float.

My only advice for this product is to not leave it in the sun when you're not using it. We think thats why our last pair started falling apart, because after we'd use them, they would just sit on the dock the rest of the day in the sometimes blistering heat. They started getting cracks and pieces were breaking off, etc.. Of course, that was also after 5 or so years of summertime use. Our new pair we've had for a month or so and have been taking good care to put away when we're done, so hopefully they'll never break now!

Either way, if you're looking for a float, you can't go wrong with this. Just try to take care of it when you aren't using it.
