My Subaru Forester burned up COMPLETELY on the interstate, this box was in the back, survived with black marks only. I can't explain, only report.

This is the worst box ever. I had water in the boat for the first time, this box filled faster than a speeding bullet with water. My phone, my buddies I phone and my keys along with all the emergency equipment in the bottom of this box were under water in this box. Completely useless!!!!!! Better to get this and use it as an anchor for your boat than a "dry box"!

Best box for my uses. I researched other boxes and chose the Plano. I realized that this box is water resistant, not water proof. I run a guide service and we use these boxes to keep emergency items dry. They have been through some rather severe storms without any issues. I highly recommend this product.

my dry box that got knocked into the river will bow fishing and before i could get it out it had filled with about a quart of water luckly i hadnt put my cell phone in like usual just wallet and some tools and some odd and ends.
