Comments about Pflueger President Baitcast Reel:
I am just the average nobody. i fish rayburn alot though. i bought the president about 4 years ago. i must say that in the 4 years that i have used it, i have always been satisfied with it. from reeling in anything from large stripers to large catfish. Only three days ago did i finally have any trouble with it. the thumb button started sticking, which may have been from fishing stagnant pond water the last year or so. all i have ever had to do was wash it out. Now i told you that i have had it for 4 years, I JUST NOW GREASED IT FOR THE FIRST TIME.... like new all over again..

Comments about Pflueger President Baitcast Reel:
I own and fish several baitcasters including mid range quantums and daiwas. For my money, I have yet to find a better baitcaster. I'm a fast paced bass fisherman and throw a lot of cranks and spinnerbaits. Casts are smooth, the drag is reliable and I always feel in complete control of this reel. I would certainly recommend this reel to anyone looking to spend a dime but not break the bank on a go to baitcaster.

Comments about Pflueger President Baitcast Reel:
Purchased this reel last fall for some smallmouth fishing in the Detroit River, and Lake Erie (Pig Country) and I must say that I am completely satisfied with this reel. I have only used it for ten outings, so the jury is still out in regards to durability. I would recommend this reel to a friend.
