        Those little power robbing devices that are always "ON" take away enough power in time to make a battery very low on power....this is the cure

          We had issues with our battery being drained. After much research, I kept coming back to the Perko Switch. I had some other "shade tree" options I was kicking around, but in the end, I'm very glad I paid the money to go this route. The switch is very solid and was easy to install. It included good directions as well.

            Comments about Perko Main Battery Switch:

            Modern electronics often come with "always on" curcuits for memory etc. This is good to a point, but very annoying if you find yourself coming back to a low battery on a regular basis. For medium and longer term storage, having a manual off and on switch will solve the problem of these "Phantom Loads"

              I have a small travel trailer using a deep cell. Unless I unhook the battery I have a slow constant drain. Can I use this switch mounted on the side of my battery case which sits on the tongue, and connect to the positive terminal?

              I have a 2007 Skeeter with all the candy....1 battery for starting and for my sonar and GPS...somehow I can't seem to find out what is causing my starting battery to drain when sitting. I have to disconnect the positive cables in order for the battery not to drain. Will this switch prevent that?
