Product Description
penn The Penn Senator, still holding claim to many world records, is an icon in saltwater fishing. When paired with Penn Slammer Rods for a factory-matched combo, it makes a combo perfectly balanced for fishing a variety of species. From trolling for bluefish to bottom-fishing for grouper, Senator Combos are an excellent choice. The reel features a lightweight, graphite frame; machined and anodized aluminum spool; and stainless steel frame rings to enhance rigidity and prevent "frame-flex". Reel also includes HT-100 drag washers for a smooth drag under heavy loads, along with 2 shielded, stainless steel ball bearings. The paired Slammer rod has a 1-piece, tubular, graphite composite blank. Graphite reel seat, EVA grips, and aluminum gimbal with cover. The reel has 30lb./440yd. line capacity. The 6'6" rod has 20 - 50-lb. line weight.
